  ** Fed Halves Debit Card Bank Fees ** Congress recently passed the Durbin Amendment, which is a landmark decision that results in the largest reduction in credit card processing costs. The new mandate lowers the cost of 50-70% of the cards you accept. The new transaction fee will go into effect October 1, 2011. Your current credit card processor probably did NOT pass this savings on to you and kept it as profit. You need to call us right away to see significant savings in your debit card fees.
