Thank you for your interest in joining Think Local First of Santa Cruz County!

Before we get started with the membership application we need to determine whether or not you qualify as a member. Please answer the following questions honestly and to the best of your knowledge.

Questionnaire

1. Is your business privately held?

2. Do the business owners who have a controlling interest of more than 50% live in Santa Cruz, San Benito, Monterey, or Santa Clara County?

3. Is your business registered in California, with no corporate or national headquarters outside Santa Cruz, San Benito, Monterey, or Santa Clara County?

4. Can your business make independent decisions regarding the name and look of your business, as well as all business purchasing, practices and distribution?

5. Do you pay all your own marketing, rent, and other business expenses?

Membership Types

We currently offer five different forms of membership.

Gold

$500 Annual Membership Fee

  • Rotating logo on
    Think Local First home page.
  • Added exposure in full-page ads.
  • Added exposure in directory listing.

Silver

$250 Annual Membership Fee

  • Added exposure in full-page ads.
  • Added exposure in directory listing.

Bronze

$125 Annual Membership Fee

  • Mention in full-page ads.
  • Listing in directory.

Non-Profit

$60 Annual Membership Fee

  • Mention in full-page ads.
  • Listing in directory in the "Non-profit" category.

Community Supporter

$20 Annual Membership Fee

  • Mention in directory.

Membership Year

1 October through 30 September.

April -August sign-up: Membership is valid through September of the following year, i.e. includes several bonus months.

Additional Listings: $50.00

If you would like to add another business location, an additional category, or another website, please sign up as a new member, enter the information for your additional business unit, click "pay by check," and send payment to our main address. This applies only in addition to an existing and fully paid membership.
