TLF Day on Nov. 17

Thursday November 17 has been declared TLF Day! In recognition of TLF’s many accomplishments and the contributions of its founders to the local business community, November 17 will be celebrated as TLF Day in the City of Santa Cruz and throughout the County.

Designation of this special day highlights the importance of TLF’s efforts to promote thinking local first to keep money circulating here and maintain the unique character of our very special part of the world 


Social Media Volunteer Opportunity

Do you tweet before breakfast? Check Facebook before bed? Put your social media skills to use as the TLF Social Media All-Star!  In just a few hours a month you can have a big impact helping Santa Cruz County independent local businesses to connect and be informed 

TLF’s social media pages need you! 

Frequent postings help build the community of local, independent Santa Cruz County businesses.

We are looking for someone who loves keeping up with trends and working with social media . If that’s you, this is a great opportunity to further your experience in managing communications for an organization and make new connections.

What you’ll do:

  1. Maintain frequent posting to the TLF Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages
  2. Coordinate with TLF members about cross-posting with their pages
  3. Assist TLF members in promoting their businesses with TLF assets

Even an hour a week can have a big impact.  The schedule is completely flexible.

If you have the skills and want to make a difference in your community, please send an email to info@thinklocalsantacruz.org telling us a little about your social media experience and why you want to volunteer.  A resume is not required.
